about

Briana Dinsdale has rapidly established herself as one of the most compelling new voices in Australian country music, widely regarded as one of the strongest songwriters emerging from the genre today. Blending 70s-inspired country storytelling with a modern edge, her music carries the emotional depth of classic country while speaking directly to a new generation. With over 350,000 organic global streams, growing international momentum, and a 2026 Countrytown Breakthrough Artist of the Year nomination, Briana is increasingly recognised by both industry leaders and audiences as an artist on the rise.

Her path into country music began early. At just 13 years old, Briana was invited on stage to perform with Keith Urban - a defining moment that ignited her pursuit of a professional music career. From there, she honed her craft through years of live performance, working as a gigging musician throughout her school years while developing the songwriting voice that would later set her apart.

Her national breakthrough came with the Top 10 Australian Country Radio single Real Time Love, followed by her selection as a Top 10 Finalist in the prestigious Toyota Star Maker competition. During this period, Briana was handpicked as the live performer for the Heart Country Australia Launch Party, marking the official launch of iHeartCountry Australia, a landmark industry event attended by senior executives and media. She went on to showcase at BIGSOUND and perform across Australia’s leading festivals, including CMC Rocks (2026), Ridin’ Hearts, Legends of Country Festival, Deni Ute Muster, Brisbane Festival, and Gympie Pre-Muster.

A Keith Urban Scholarship recipient, Briana attended the CMAA Senior Academy as the sole recipient for that year, and only the second artist ever to receive the award. It was during this time that she found her footing as a collaborator, refining her songwriting through intensive co-writing and creative development.

Following the release of her debut EP Late Night Small Talks, Briana Dinsdale continues to carve out a distinctive lane - one where stories feel lived-in, emotions ring true, and Australian country music feels both timeless and unmistakably current. With a clear artistic vision and a growing body of work, she is excited to take this uniquely Australian voice to audiences both nationally and on the global stage.
